Polidile by Bernadeth R. Montellano

They stand with power and wealth
Thousands of eyes amazed by their fate
Millions of minds need your hands
When would that be?

When it is near, they hurriedly wear masks
When it is near, they comfort the bothered
When it is near, they provide even not asked
When it is near, they show glorious acts

When thunders came, they explain from top to bottom
How sad to know when this is just a show
It is all a mistake to easily trust in them
For they are dangerous

They look like saints but are truly crocodiles
Big mouth that craves for fame, power, and wealth
All they think is for these alone
When will they realize the truth?
