Scathing cold Latin blaspheme,
To freezing flames one’s soul in shame.
Sheer bliss in hundred whipped slash on flesh,
Maddening shriek of hushed woe in anathema.
Corpses, suffocated, trapped in death’s grip,
Then simpered, revived with each melodic baneful phrase.
When in holy and benevolent lips enunciate,
Newborn babe of life and hope in wonderment creates.
